Born and raised in McDowell County, North Carolina, Danny Castle was blessed with a sainted Christian mother, and a hardworking commonsense father.  Growing up playing music and basketball, the last thing on his mind was becoming a preacher.  When he was 18, Nebo Baptist Church had Bro. Joe Parsons for Revival.  The power of God came, there were over 100 professions of faith & Danny Castle was saved by the grace of God, at 18 years of age.  Immediately everything changed in his life.  He began reading the Bible day and night, going to revivals and camp meetings, and surrendered to the call to the ministry at 19 years old.  Since then he has traveled across the United States preaching hundreds of Revivals, Campmeetings, Youth Rallies, as well as on the streets of many major cities and foreign countries.  God has allowed him to travel over forty years seeing thousands of lives changed and souls saved. 


The Lord has used him to begin two Bible believing churches, which are both thriving soul winning stations for the Lord Jesus Christ.  Our Pastor has faced the enemy, for sure.  Through many dangers, toils, and snares, he continues to this day preaching & helping people who are struggling with problems, sin, burdens, & understanding the scriptures.  He still believes & preaches the Authorized King James Bible, as it is, to men, as they are.  We have no doubt we will hear the truth from God's word every service!  He and his wife Kellie, still reside in Nebo.  She is a tremendous help in the Bus Ministry and the work of our church. 


His three daughters, Carrie, Carissa, and Cori, their three husbands, Todd, Jeremy, and Wesley, and five grandchildren, Dax, Kerigan, Gage, Anistyn, & Talon, all attend our church faithfully.  Everyone who knows our Pastor knows 'he's real' and has a heart for helping people that can only come from a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
